    Awesome Place

My kids loved, loved, loved this place. Indoors, there's a bunch of educational and fun things for kids to explore. My 6 year old son liked the "anthole" the best. You go underground and climb up thru a couple of chambers before emerging on the next floor. Lots of climbing structures. Neat little water art area where kids can play and paint. The planetarium exhibit was an additional $2 per person and was only ok.

The outdoor play area were also great. First there was a track where the kids could try a variety of bikes, scooters, and 4 wheel carts. There's a track for little kids and for bigger kids. Farther up there's a few water play areas: a calm pond, running brook, and a play area with regular water showering down from the roof. A must visit during a hot day - be sure to bring a towel and a change of clothes. Finally, at the far corner you get to the garden area, here you can water a number of growing vegetables.

Overall a terrific place to visit. It is located very close to the Rose Bowl. Be sure there isn't a football game going on at the same time as Kidspace does close during these events. Parking was ample, just be sure to take the small road that leads up to the building. The restaurant inside was reasonably healthy and priced. We did end up packing a lunch (outside food is ok) and supplementing with a few items from the restaurant.
